Palm Beach, FL - After a number of years of being a very active chapter, with well-attended annual Fall socials, our Palm Beach Chapter is in need of new leadership at this time. Frank is located in the Anchorage Marina in the Inner Harbor. This Spring, Frank will be contacting members in the northern Maryland and Pennsylvania areas to solicit ideas for social activites and suggestions for improving membership involvement. Frank also invites members coming through Baltimore to contact him for information about the city and cruising the Chesapeake Bay.

Formative Chapters
RMHYC is attempting to establish Chapters in two additional areas this year. They are as follows, with contact information.
Southern Chesapeake – Terry Zeigler and Peggy O’Neill are Port Captains for the southern Chesapeake, located in the Deltaville area on Wilton Creek off the Piankatank River. They will be contacting members in Virginia to solicit interest in RMHYC social activities in the Northern Neck and Tidewater areas of Virginia. They can be reached at 804.776.0129 (home) or 703.282.6723 (cell); email attitudeip350@aol.com.
Coastal Carolinas – RMHYC has a growing membership presence in the coastal Carolinas, ranging from Beaufort, NC south through Myrtle Beach and Murrells Inlet, SC. Members in this area can expect an invitation to a formative Chapter social in late June 2008, to be held in the Wilmington, NC area at the home of Bette and David Bauereis. The swimming pool will be inviting, and the picnic will be festive. Videos and slide shows will highlight this year’s RMHYC activities. Contact Bette and David at 910.686.9616 (home), 910.470.1806 (cell), or dbauereis@ec.rr.com.

| Guidelines for
RMHYC Chapters
|
|
1. A registered chapter should have at least 6
members (you get the BIG
flag if you meet this requirement)
2. Chapters are self supporting.
3. Periodic meetings should be held. It is recommended that the location be
rotated amongst the members and the host of that particular meeting would serve as
Commodore for the month.
4. A LOG of chapter activities should be maintained, inlcuding a summary of the meeting (party) minutes.
5. Keep the Commodore of the RMHYC posted on Chapter activities.
6. Open the Chapter meetings to both existing and potential new memebers.
Please contact David Baueresis for
more information.
